The delegation of LLP "RIFSAED" made a visit to the UK to study the experience in energy efficient design and construction.

The delegation of LLP «RIFSAED» held a number of meetings with large companies in the field of design and construction of energy-efficient buildings and structures, as well as visited about 12 important facilities.

Within 4 days, the delegation held meetings with the company «Bere architects», which developed the first UK project «Passive house» with zero carbon emissions, «Siemens», company, is a leading co-investor in wind power projects in the UK, the delegation visited the Park of innovative technologies «BRE», also met and visited the facilities, built by the English architecture and construction companies, «Hawkins Brown» and «FABRICA».

An interesting experience was a visit to the interactive exhibition «Crystal», built by the company «Siemens». «Crystal» – is a unique building in East London, which contains a permanent exhibition on sustainable energy efficiency. Inside «Crystal» the world's largest exhibition on the future of cities. According to the authors of the project, the interactive exhibition will guide visitors through the urban infrastructure of the future, focusing on opportunities for sustainable mobility, construction technologies, electricity and water supply, as well as health care. The «Crystal» building is the first to achieve the highest level of sustainable development thanks to two of the world's leading accreditation bodies: LEED and BREEAM. The project is based on the KNX standard building and infrastructure management system.

The delegation also noted the interesting visit to the Park of innovative technologies «BRE». «BRE» –is a leading global, multidisciplinary, building science center with a mission to improve buildings and infrastructure through research and knowledge creation. «BRE» are full-scale demonstration buildings developed by industry partners. These buildings showcase innovative design, materials and technology that combine to address the development challenges facing regions around the world.

It should be concluded that the design and construction in England is focused on energy efficiency, preservation of the English style and care for socially vulnerable segments of the population.
